Logic this note 14 pro+ has a bigger battery because OEMs like Xiaomi realize that this soc is less "efficient/power hungry" 😂
They are saying that for the 8 gen 4 and 9400
As if the development/break through for battery chemistry is reactive or ties directly to flagship soc development

WickedS, 24 Sep 2024Why don't they think like that about curved screen?With right cover and protector curved screen is good though, am typing this comment with oneplus 7 pro, dropped it lot of time because of curves cover will land first before display, I would definetely buy another curved phone if display is of high quality.

They also need to improve software. Hyper os is a disaster when we talking about battery life. Nothing os with same battery capacity and same soc has 50% higher screen on time!

If this phones had 8s gen 3 or 7+ gen 3 they will need vapour chamber, probably ufs 4 storage, and other things which will eat more budget of phone hence things like Camera, Display etc won't be good enough.
Only flagship offer all features, midrange you have to sacrifice features to keep phones at reasonable price.

Wasn't really impressed by this phone at first. The dimensity 7350 is basically a slightly overclocked version of the dimensity 7200 ultra from the predecessor. Minimal difference here. The main camera is using a cheaper and smaller sensor than the predecessor (although I think that's a good decision because it will save costs and give basically a very similar output instead of focusing on the 200mp marketing BS and wasting money). However, there are 2 key upgrades. The battery size which is the biggest upgrade is a significant improvement. The other is the 60mm telephoto. Not expecting a lot from it as I suspect they will not offer OIS but at least it has a 60mm telephoto and it should be ok in the daytime. Therefore, I've kind of changed my mind. I now think it's looking pretty good. Having said that the weakness will be the processor and that may hold it back. The IQOO z9 turbo+ is launching tonight with dimensity 9300+ and 6,400mAh battery is launching tonight and it will probably be around the same price. The camera hardware will be worse no doubt but the better ISP might compensate somewhat for that.

whats the huge battery gonna give u if your phone software drains it anyways like crazy. poco f6 vs realme gt 6 best example. gt6 almost having double battery life with the same chipset and a bigger screen than f6
