The new Adreno 830 might run at even higher clocks, 1.25GHz, but this info comes from an early reference device.

If you want super stable performance, you can use gaming phones with special cooling.

That's a huge improvement. Hopefully this is a sign that Qualcomm will catch up in GPU performance over the next few years with their laptop processors as well. Their Snapdragon X Elite chips only have 68% of the performance of the AMD Ryzen AI HX370, and that's only theoretically so because most software doesn't support ARM and so they have to be run in a translation layer, which further lowers the performance. Maybe compute will become much more important for their GPUs as well?

which basically means - do not spend more than 600 Eur now for any "flagship" since in 4 months all will be blown away with 1/2 more power from nextgen. Thanks, sorry Samsung, Xiaomi..good luck with those expensive toys nowadays.

Of course, that's already a given that if you don't run the GPU far too much to its near absolute limit, then it will surely be a lot more stable than the predecessors at their peak performance levels.
