Latest Xiaomi phone with HyperOS have both Galery by xiaomi and Photos by Google,
You're freely to Choose between Galery and Photos
I choose Galery because it doesn't nag me to pay for monthly fee
The google photo always nag to backup and then told me to pay for extra storage.

As you can see from the first one, the cameras on the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro have been co-engineered with Leica and have Summilux lenses.
This is pure marketing. Leica just sticks the Logo on any allows them to use a few filters. The main sensors are from omnivision so they are engineered by omnivision and pretty sure the lenses are the same as they use on other non leica branded phones. The Leica effect is more to do with software and the style of photos

I used to praise and defend Xiaomi and the hardware value is still okay/good for the money compared to Samsung or Apple, but the new HyperOS is absolutely terrible, when it comes to privacy and data protection. Let me give an example: the gallery app now displays Ads when you view one of your private and personal videos. You can deactivate it, but only for 30 days. Ads are basically everywhere you go, even on the lockscreen from time to time. It became unbearable.
