GPU performance of rumored D9400 looks impressive, while the CPU performance have fairly improved. Still the same CPU architecture design, but boosted with amount of numbers per sec.

Still, I expect the power consumtion are the same, but slightly improved efficiency over previous D9300. But when playing games, it may not be as efficient if the GPU pushed so much peroformance as high unless they limit the graphics settings.

May not be the best mobile CPU so far, but compete as long as they match the score of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

      Hopefully it's not just powerful but also stable and efficient, Mediatek did a good job in this last 4 years.

              That's a good performance gain if we consider that d9300 had over 600k performance uplift compared to d9200.

                I still think it's going to be ~10% slower than Snapdragon 8g4 (or 8 Elite as it's supposedly gonna be called), but honestly, with both at literally bleeding edge desktop level of single core performance, who cares lmao

                      People just don't want to admit Mediatek is making powerful chipsets, and now is a serious competitor to Qualcomm, Samsung and Google. Same thing was with AMD when Ryzen was unveiled. Took a long time for a lot of people to admit AMD was making better chips than Intel. The more competition, the better.
