I had AI listening to my Valve Index mic. It learned my voice so I could say 'fireball' and shoot a fireball from my hands in Skyrim.

The only way VR takes off, is if it's like in Strange Days (1995).

Otherwise, it is impractical, it is not going to replace a monitor, or a smartphone. Imagine, you would have to take it off, put it on, it's heavy, you can't just slouch back, the control is poor, impractical, and imprecise.

It should keep the same price. Just use all the ones the YouTuber's returned after getting their clicks and views and put in the new chip DONE...

"For the low price of $9,999 now YOU can pin a safari window* to the left side of your 360 iVision Apple Intelligence spatial computing experience!"

*pinning more than 2 windows will crash the system and nullify your warranty. For pinning 3 windows you require Apple iThree iPin iWindows iAnnual subscription. 4 windows cannot be pinned.

"AI spatial computing" is the most no-substance smart-sounding marketing term I've heard so far

Make a Vision Air or Vision Mini and make it cost 15-1800 USD. Then INDIVIDUALS and not companies will start considering to buy it.

what? they are really going to make a second gen iFlop?

The future is light-weight smart glasses (xreal, vetury, rokid), not heavy vr goggles like apple vision, quest or pico!

Save your money, because what will come from smaller companies is much better than what big companies currently offer.

This needs to support macOS and all of its apps to stand a chance. I think Apple released this product with limited OS not to cannibalize Mac sales but I don't see a point in Vision Pro if you need separate computer for actual computing.

They keep pushing this VR crap for 30 years now, don't they? Is 30 years not enough to understand very few need or/and want this VR contraption hanging on their forehead?

Get over it. This technology is dead before arrival.

At the rumored $1500 for next gen I think it could at least begin to look attractive. Still has to have a use case though, which I have no clue what the average consumer would want this for 😂

"AI" needs a high volume of users to be effective and "accurate".
Apple: Let's make AI dumber by minimizing the user volume.

That price tag is genuinely bonkers.
