Anonymous, 26 minutes agoNot a big deal anyway. Not a problem until they start to turn the feature on by default everytime we update our devices.
I guess that what I was trying to pont out is that, as consumers, we should not be too complacent.
And should not settle for "just that" or "just enough" action from them.
As they will always abuse their power, unless they get regulated.

I only use Ai features that can run "On Phone Only". Besides, most of features are super gimmicky.

Not for us consumers, but for "AI Investors".
To be more precise, whaleing investors.

AI is and will remain disabled on my phone. Hope Samsung does not begin pestering users to subscribe, though.

Who is seriously going to pay a monthly fee for Sketch to image, it's the type of gimmick you use to show somebody what your new phone can do then forget all about it. I can't see people using it regularly to draw images.

I don't get what they call AI features. I own a S24 Ultra and intelligence is nowhere to be found, I even find trying to use bixby a complete waste of time.
'AI' features for the photo editing with the gallery app were already present a long time ago.
Trying to use the interpreter... Well, good luck with that understanding what you're saying.
For the Samsung Health 'AI' generated recommendations they feel more like a bunch of nested ifs or an array made out of if/then suggestions.
So, for the time being I wouldn't pay a dime for any Ai feature on my phone because they don't seem intelligent to me.

It's easy to see that many people have absolutely no clue yet they are yapping. More advanced AI features run as a cloud service, the hardware and server cost for that is immense. If enough people use it, offering it for free will ruin Samsung financially, for the same reason Google has some paid stuff already for Gemini.

Shamrock Sean, 5 hours agoErm hello?? Uses same design for flagships?? Apple has used... moreSamsung makes many of it own parts from scratch
And has creative privilege superior to APPLE that basically makes nothing
Your comparison fails based on this logic
Samsung deserves harsher criticism because of this

It's new era where phone features go behind paywall. It starts with AI but they could start charging for other stuff too.

They can keep their AI. Don't want it, don't need it. Mostly a gimmick.
