With all the infrastructure behind it and all the developers you have employed full time you will make it free right? What about the free apps that you cant charge them? you can ask for say 25 or 20 percent, but for the service developers and users get from Playstore, a one time payment of $25 by devs is way not enough.

Instead of wasting money in court, Epic need to spend that money on fixing their shitty engine. Unreal engine still don not support Vulkan on Android properly. Vulkan 1.1 was standard on Android 10, which released in 2019.
Also Unreal Engine performes badly on AMD, Intel and ARM gpus, when those gpu has no problem on other engine. Maybe AMD, Intel and ARM need to sue Epic for favouring Nvidia gpus.

Epic is doing this to get children addicted to their phones playing Fortnite. Kids will use their parents phones to play games (which already have their parents' credit cards in it). They need to have access to the phone's screen lock (fingerprint, passwords) and voila! Easily spend money on microtransactions!
What a dystopian future lies for our children... Hopefully the future parents won't be so stupid (and will make use of the parental controls)

Samsung has it device secured and sell it secure, privacy protected included with knox. Still you can sideload apps but you need indeed more steps than other devices. But you can also download on many brands with android a store but you must switch off installing apps from other sources.
It's possible and there is a difference in sideloading and just install a downloaded app on your device but still you must give premission too install an apk ap loose on your device.

I turned off stupid Samsung blocker because it blocked pop up window on our own internal app and we couldn't download payroll in PDF from our internal app. This blocker is so stupid and yes, it is blocking Epic Games store too. This is Ai blocker. AI blocker my ass.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2024Epic Games are nothing more than a bunch of whiny, hypocrit... moreis cause epic games fortnite has a money currency called v-bucks which you can buy with real money to buy skins and dancing emotes/song in the game, and since epic games actually cares for customers and want to offer those v bucks packs for the same amount of money for every platform and not increase/ lose money on them cause of greedy companies like apple appstore payment system and google playstore payment system which take 30% cut for those transactions , they built their own store app/ download platform so they wont pay those 30% to google/apple
