MarkoPolo, 02 Oct 2024The downfall of One Plus is coming after they abandoned all... moreNever really saw their devices as toptier spec - second tier at best, since their devices tend to be more of a gimmick than a technerds dream. Only reason they had any technerd affiliation is due to using Snapdragon SoCs.

PureOS, 02 Oct 2024Other countries can also help manufacturers, but in reality... moreNo one in the EU is trying to “ban” Chinese cars but instead level the playing field. It’s a well known fact that China grants enormous amounts of state and provincial level subsidies to EV makers which has led to unsustainable level of overproduction and artificially low prices. Even the Chinese know that only a handful of their own car brands will survive for more than the next five years.

NewForceX, 02 Oct 2024When you're not innovative, can't beat competitor... moreReally? If it is like you imply, then the Chinese are the worst losers there are. After all, there are plenty of fields of business in which foreign companies are simply not allowed to operate in China even when WTO rules they should be able to.

It's unfortunate that OnePlus has fallen victim to a patent troll, a move that will only harm consumers. Hopefully the matter is settled swiftly without letting the patent trolls win.
