Simple, wanna sell in Europe, make it in Europe.

Akinaro, 02 Oct 2024Isn't that one of those cases where we have patent hog... morenot illegal. OP could have bought the patents earlier but thought Chinese backing would let them keep the same practice of not paying for Intellectual property.

Can't believe people are defending Oppo here.
Chinese companies don't give crap about other country's IP or regulations. They will try their best to swivel around doing anything until they get caught. This is not just their tech companies, but also their automobile, and the worst ones are the logistic and mining companies. People who are defending Chinese company are either mainlanders, or simply fools who will have their country being (or already) controlled by China economically.

When you're not innovative, can't beat competitor, you banned their products, just like the loser the Americans, And German people worst still, they've lost their soul, probably sold it to Americans.

That is truly Eu democracy, fake one.

It is same case always. The company A created tech and registered it. Then company B decides to use without paying .

Often in situations like this, company B thinks they are too smart and proposes to pay royalties based on what price they consider fair ( very famous american company often does this) ignoring fact the patent owner is who decides how much the tech is worth.

Then fanboys of company B start using term" Patent troll" to refer to company A and claim company A is prevent innovation to exist because in their dumb minds everyone should be allowed to use for free
