YouTube Shorts are getting longer

Seems like a good move. It could promote less idiotic content, as there's no rush for ppl to be entertained.

In this case i dont even think about the "short" name anymore. For a degenerative brainrot eternal looping video, 3 minutes are way too frickin long.

basically all social media contents now when i scroll are 50% ads, 30% strangers, 10% repeat that 50% ads, 10% are from people i follow... XD

Better make sure there is enough time to cram in more ads

Is there any way to block shorts on phones like on desktop? Would be great if there's an extension for Edge Mobil or Samsung browser that does this.

I don't see any of these trash, thankfully. I go to Tiktok if I want to.

I upload music and some are below 3 mins, does that means my upload will be flagged as shorts?

Change Youtube Shorts name to be Youtube Longers. That it

Better to call it Verticals

Personally would prefer a toggle you can use whether you want a video to be a video, or a short.
