    I see the "sheep" stereotype is being used again. Fact is, most IT firms use iPhones, so the technologically mindful actually know quality when they see it. I'm not saying that android would be worse, but smart people preferring iPhone goes against the hater's decade old blinkered opinion.
    Sad really.

          There are two chances:
          1. If it sticks, they will wait for a few years and release the same thing without any improvement which makes it doesn't any better than the one on Android, but fanboys would think that "tHeY iMpLeMenTeD iT bEtTeR tHaN oN aNdRoiD".
          2. If it doesn't stick, they will wait for a (longer) few years and release it under new naming and try to act like they're the first one who invited that. But eh, it doesn't matter tho. The one that matter is the one who implemented it first, not who implemented it better.

          Also, "buying an Apple product" sounds like a doctrine nowadays. People will buy their product no matter how bad it is.

            Brilliant marketing on one side, sad that it works on the other side. They trigger the urge and FOMO to upgrade in all existing iPhone users to have this new thing.

It's been a huge imbalance the last few years and it sounds like people are just finally starting to wake up. Hopefully.

                  What's so amazing about their manipulation ? It's not even setting an example for others to try to copy, only another big corp could try. And thats no good for consumers either. ..

                      Absolutely never call it a capacitive fingerprint sensor button. I wonder if they'll ever let users activate the fingerprint sensing functionality of it, like it works on my Z Flip?

                        At least I can stop seeing the ads "Apple Iphone 16 created with AI in mind"

                        When they dont even have AI on the devices yet and some markets wont get it till waayyy later.

                        Apple can just lie and get away with it. Crazy world but when you have an Apple logo the sheeps will believe anything

                          But then again, it never has been a real physical button in the first place, unlike the one on Sony phones. This is, literally, a software-driven gesture button.

                            Apple doesn't want you to know they've removed the button to ask you more money so that later they re-added the button to ask even more money!

                                Say what you want but Apple is Brilliant in marketing, they work as perfect example of any company that wait patiently, watch their user group closely and no matter of what they sell, they always advertise it as premium and luxury, even if its simple and cheap thing.

                                Just look at that button or AI, they probably spend less than 100K on R&D of that button, and spend probably nothing on AI, they just patiently waited to other companies do work and real world test, see what stick and what not, implement most basic elements of that so average low IQ person will understand it and advertise it as new, exciting and innovative! Price it high to give feel of premium... DONE!

                                And people buy it! Its sad and amazing at the same time...

                                  Don't call it a button...because they don't want to hahaha because it's a button alright. Apple as a way of giving the impression they do things differently so consumers see it as special. That was true in the past with Steve but those were the days...not anymore.
                                  Conclusion: it's a gimmick because they had the pressure to show something new. Everything the person did on that ad, it can easily be done within the screen with normal controls just as easily (if not more) and fast.

                                      I am so disappointed about the camera control. The placement of the button is so stupid and is hard to use. This is nothing but a Gimmick and it is pure trash.

AI is a better switch than complicated eletro mechanical switching as analog computer are no bankable.
