Anonymous, 18 hours agoFeature or Gimmick? I say Gimmick. Who's with me?Gimmick. Then again, this is the "little baby steps at a time" Apple under Cook we are talking about. Its kinda surprising they didnt hike up the prices of the 16 series based on this "all new hardware".

    This is the type of the feature that you want it in your phone but you will never use it, like the FM radio in my case, and 3.5mm port although I rarely use it.

          Funny, wasn't the apple who removed all buttons and preached qe should be using one only for all? Touch, under glass on top of that? ;)

            Anonymous, 18 hours agoFeature or Gimmick? I say Gimmick. Who's with me?Oh it’s a gimmick alright, and not a well thought out one either. Ironically, the only feature this button should have had is the one ‘that is coming later’ the ability to act as a dual stage focus/shutter button.

            Apple really missed the mark on this one……

Instead, they could have designed a physical rotating crown that allows users to adjust settings like zoom, shutter speed, or brightness. That would offer a much more intuitive experience!
