Back like 8 years ago it was somewhat a trend to show that a cell phone or cheap point and shoot camera can capture similar videos as a DSLR. This is old news. Nothing news, works only for sheep who can't think. It's all about lighting, etc and you can do the same video with a lot of old cell phones out there. same thing! They won't tell you $100K in extra rigs, setups, light, assistants and 100s of hours wasted on testing, adjusting, editing, etc when it could've been just done at 1/10 of the cost with the real equipment lol.

It's disgustingly poor. The Pro mode with higher shutter speeds gives better results.

Puts more noise reduction, adds sharpening and use lame tricks to unblur faces ( while rest of someone's body is still blurred)

Pixel has always been lame to deal with motion.
Top ship is ridiculous feature than after years ( pixel 2 was first to have) still cannot use full resolution while even phone like XZ Premium from 2017 can do same at 19MP

Apple is really trying to sell the 16 series as much as the 15 series

If I want to use smartphone for mobile filmmaking, it sure won't be Apple or even Samsung. Only Sony deserve such a honour since Sony has incorporated 4K/120fps video recording support on ultrawide and telephoto camera since 2022 Mk4 Xperia 1/5. Also, given the fact that the camera in 4K/60fps resolution can capture up to 150Mbps bitrate, Sony still has real common sense to keep the still-relevant microSD card slot on the phone. And no, I don't made that up*.

Of course it's always possible to pull a double duty as external mic with the also still-relevant 3.5mm audio jack, but that's another story for another day.
