The only problem with apple is their high prices placing iphone out of reach for the majority. Android however have variety in terms of pricing and models. True, ios is great,but as long as they lack variety(especially in their pricing models),other than in the developed nations(probably only in the US), they can not catch up with android globally.

my galaxy s2 works great doesn't freeze doesn't lag, it's smooth. if i were to buy a iphone at that time it could've been the iphone 4, wich is signficantly worst than the s2, also about people who praise apple for their updates first off all, their updates are minor stuff that don't make much of a difference and second of course they update considering their prices, if you buy any flagship it will be updated for a long time if you buy the most expensive, but you can't buy a low end droid and cry that it's not being updated, people need to understand this

Funny. I have a Galaxy Nexus, a Nexus 7 and a Nexus 10, and none of them freezes. Only malcoded apps force close, but you can't blame the OS for that.
Smooth, customizable, good looking, sober and sleek has been my experience so far.
Honestly, you sound like someone who got a bugged carrier phone or a Samsung with lots of lags and redraws, and started blaming Android for that.
That's why I only use Nexus devices. Far, far more stable and smooth.

The eraman, 29 Jul 2013BB 10.2 will chang the equation just wait....Let's see, BB OS seems good based on some demonstration videos on Youtube. I have doubts that it can catch up though but that's just me. What I want to see catch up is Windows Phone. It's good but just lack the app store to back it up and it's expensive. BB OS may also have app store problems.

But the Android 4.2.2 looks classy and elegant, very easy to use and very smooth. There's also a lot of customization to do. Crapple sucks.
