That curve needed to be more angled. What they showed in the video looks almost like a waterfall screen.

My phone already has 'quad curved display' . It's a Xiaomi phone , released in 2021 . Yes , it looks and feels nice when holding the phone or swiping across the screen. The only disadvantage is with screen protectors , the sides/corners will lift up and air goes in under there.

I used before P30 with huawei gestures and now Magic 6 pro with same gesture navigation and is much more comfortable for the finger tip to swipe from side to side. The finger glides easily on the curved edge. No sharpness felt during swipe like on the flat screeen.

no matter the rest of it, any phone with a curved display is no go. i wish gsmarena would put a toggle in the phone finder so you can filter out these ridiculous things.

Even though Huawei is Out of the Smartphone race in the World .
They are still a trend setter among Chinese Brands .
They came up with this idea and As the Leaks suggests .. all most all Chinese Brands will move to Microcurved displays in their Flagship Line up .

I'm not even aware of a technology that alow to manufacture displays with curvature on adjacent sides.
Even double foldable phones, fold over paralel hinges.
