If the screen is 2K that is a downgrade, the previous one had a 3K screen.

willie, 23 hours agoall the spec looks great, now if they give 6-7 years update... moreBro A16 have 6-7 years of update do you really think hardware will last that long???
This is a flagship not an entry level device like A16 Samsung but still after 6-7 years of use it will be completely obsolette and useless.
Just for example look at the old S8 samsung.
No support at all low ram low battery weak CPU now good only for text calls and brownsing nothing else. In other words useless phone.
In 7 years all apps, games and eveerything about phones will be so ahead that this phone will look just like the Samsung S8 today.
      No thanks.
Lastly te resale value will be zero or up to 20 eur.

The one big problem of Oneplus company is software, I have a oneplus 11 and software is not too good.

I want as much as possible regardless if I game or not

So OnePlus are downgrading the resolution from 1440p on the OnePlus 12 to only 1220p on the OnePlus 13?

And yet they're getting praise for it? Far too many people are seriously lacking a spine 🙄

Bigger the better but I think 5500 mah is more than enough for a phone to give 6 to 7 hours SOT and that is good for a full day use unless the person continuously plays games on it.

For all I know, decreasing the display resolution would make it actually worse, not better. Combined with being more and more expensive, Oneplus became less and less desirable over the years.

Aierlan, 22 hours agoThis is basically the top level of domestic Chinese screen.... moreBOE is just amazing, all brands should use them.. none of these screen makers can provide LTPO panels for cheap.. maybe the reason why we can see mid range and flagship Realme, vivo, OnePlus gets good batteries, has LTPO and crazy high nits.

Anonymous, 22 hours agoAny info if motorola plans to use decent oled? Current on... moreNo. Unfortunately, there is very little information on Motorola phones. They are a very niche brand in China with extremely few offline stores and very little marketing so not many reviewers cover them. I looked it up in Chinese on Baidu and the only sources I could find said Huaxing Optoelectronics (TCL) and Tianma both supply the screens. The only info I could find for the Motorola edge 50 ultra said that Huaxing optoelectronics (TCL) was the screen supplier (but this is not a very official source). Lately, quite a lot of phones are using mixed screen suppliers. For example, visionox and BOE, or Visionox and TCL (Huaxing), or Tianma and TCL. Almost all of the Chinese brands are doing this in some of their phones. When they supply reviewers they usually purposively give them the ones with the better screens but as a consumer it's pot luck as to which one you get. The basic specifications are supposed to match but obviously the quality from different suppliers won't be exactly the same

I hope they make the flat version. Curved edge is nothing but a gimmick.

                                    Current ones are so bad.
                                    And poorly calibrated.

I bet it is still using tiamna. 😒

This is basically the top level of domestic Chinese screen. It's supposedly very efficient to for a 2k screen

Yet another hole in the display I presume. Almost as if there was a solution developed for this several years ago.

Almost as if OnePlus themselves had a solution for this half a decade ago.
