I don't see the point of Xiaomi making so many "flagship" devices with high prices, they already have the mainline Xiaomi, the T series and Mix. The Redmi K series is supposed to be a more "affordable" series but with good specs, the flagship killers so to speak.

Korin.D, 10 Oct 2024I Have A Redmi K70 Pro, Its the CN Version but it works wel... moreMeanwhile, their global counterparts are shafted. Reading press releases aout new updates/apks only to see them as China versions is pure pain.

If the k80 pro increases the price by too much it won't be worth it as it will get too close to the price of the Xiaomi 15. However, I guess they can solve that problem by increasing the price of the Xiaomi 15 also by a similar amount. I'd be reluctant to go for another k pro though after my experience with the k60 pro. They haven't had any camera optimisation update over the entire life of the phone which is poor given the k pro models are the most expensive models of all Redmi phones

I Have A Redmi K70 Pro, Its the CN Version but it works well with Playstore and English that was installed by seller. Got it off AliExpress for 495, Basically brand new, 512/16 Variant, 120W charger a case and screen protector as well. I love this phone. Best devices I ever used.

those are literally just routine upgrades, I hope the mark-up wont be that high otherwise thered be nearly no point in buying redmi Ks instead of xiaomi.
