Meizu 21 Pro already exists, but I like its design, glad to see samsung adopting it, so the masses finally get a taste of good design. It's a modernized sony xperia z5 or z3 body. Now they should just add zx1 camera rings and it would be perfect.

          The s22 to s24 zx1 reminiscent design was nice to see revived aswell

            All we have to do is wait for the Oneplus 13 and hopefully the panel is flat or at least micro curved and I hope for a size ratio similar to at least that of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, less tall but a little wider

              Painted metal looks nasty when worn. Silver rings could be all dented and scratched and it's hardly visible. Black ones, they'll look horrible.

On the older models the glass protection it to wide,the whole lens module is visible.instead of glass make the metal ring wider to increase the protection.

                  Never mind the rear cameras, just hide the front camera. That black hole really annoys me!

                    Terrible design change just for the sake of it. Does someone from the gsm comments section work at Samsung?

                      These new, thick black rings look way less premium than the current, thin color-matched ones. Samsung hasn't even gotten the current camera design to be uniform across their entire lineup, as the camera rings on the A-series are color-matched *sometimes* but black most of the time. The A35 and A55 even have dual-colored rings for some reason – and this is to say nothing about the inconsistent curving of the backplates and siderails. Samsung should really be focusing on getting the little details right with their current design instead of changing it for the sake of change.

                        Much better innovation this year. Camera button vs camera rings 🤣

                          Some people would buy that phone even if the only change was a design. Not everyone is like that tho... well, their auto eND without competition still makes it the best choice.
                          I may wait another year tho...

                            The rings around the cameras are getting thicker since the S22 Ultra. Personally, I don't like that. It makes it look cheaper.

                                    They waited to see what is competition going to bring. Since S24U is still pretty much at the top, no need for massive upgrades sadly ...and no reason for me to get back to Samsung.
