Sony Xperia 1 VI gets Wi-Fi 7 connectivity via software update

Hopicus, 9 hours agoUseless because 99% people don't use wifi 7.Sony phone knows for it longevity, as well if 4 years later with that SoC that still capable on 2028, probably wifi 7 already could have wide usage compare to today, which at that moment we might see wifi 8 or 9 introduce.

            Iqoo should give my old phone new processor with software update.

              I'm more interested in when they'll be launching Video Pro app that was with the Xperia 1 V, but is still missing on this handset,

              I also hope that you can use the 48Mp mode to capture in RAW, as Sony tries to imply this is a Pro camera phone then hamstrings the hardware with poor software support.

              I might switch back to Oppo when it is back in Europe next year.
