7nm can't stand with 4 and 3 nm ... even a Dimensity 8200 will be more powerful than any kirin flagdhip

Vasra, 14 Oct 2024Sad to see Huawei still be crippled by US sanctions. Hopefu... moreNope, Huawei have designed 5nm Soc back in 2020. And if US didn't ban Huawei working with TSMC, Huawei definitely have released 3nm Kirin chips.

Looks like Huawei will go back to it's former glory and we will see it again competing against every other phone in the market but they need to make harmonyOS ad free to make it a better user friendly OS

Sad to see Huawei still be crippled by US sanctions. Hopefully within 2-3 years they can start making some faster progress with smaller nodes and improved SoC/memory products.

7nm is just a marketing term. What matters is how efficient the Chipset actually is.
If it can give 8 Gen 2 performance with Dimensity 9400 efficiency, we have a winner.

Best chip i ever had was Kirin chip in my former Mate phones, the last one was Mate 20X .

                                    More power to Huawei.
I'd rather see them succeed, than Apple/Qualcomm and their Legion of minions trying to force a competitor out of their monopolized market.
