Android is below average OS. Nokia said "No, we don't want another Symbian OS"

as much as i love and admire android i own a nokia lumia 920 and its running super smooth i dont want nokia to go for android if wp8 didnt do well for nokia i want them to create their own os or go with jolla. about android haters i use htc one glamour red as well for 2 weeks now its filled with apps and it didnt lag even once. yes old android did lag but the new ones dosent. btw lumia 1020 is a brilliant phone but it wont suit me i am nt into photography but if other people into photography it'll be the best choice for them.

Best phone on the market currently. Running Windows Phone 8 means it will be smoother than any Android and much much more stable OS. The camera is also unbeatable.

AnonD-77318, 31 Jul 2013actually Nokia isn't happy and very disappointed with wp8 ... moreYes, It may be, but deal with it, Nokia + Android = Laggy flop phone

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2013just a crying shame it's not rocking Jellybean to be honest .....It would lag...

If Nokia isn't bought out within the next 1.5 years; you will see a Nokia built Android device. I'm a big Nokia fan, and I actually like WP8... It just seems Microsoft doesn't care as much about WP8 as they should.

Ballmer may go down as one of the worst CEO's ever if he continues ruining Microsoft. His vision is destroying the company. Fortunately he has helped Nokia stay afloat for a few years, but Nokia is doing more for Windows Phone 8 than MS. This is the problem. Nokias devices are the best out there and they STILL want them to be the best (even if people think elop was a trojan horse); Microsoft has failed every which way on the execution of their software.

Windows Phone has so much untapped potential. Nokia is trying to use it all and MS is just twiddling their thumbs. If Microsoft doesn't get serious soon they are going to be hurting pretty badly. Microsoft needs a new CEO (or gates back) with a new vision. Ballmer is a joke.

AnonD-170747, 30 Jul 2013why just daul core not quad core??????On windows phone devices quad core isn't a must coz d OS is not heavy unlike Android and therefore runs really well on dual core. There's not a lag in my Lumia 820 which is lower specked than this 1020. However the quad core would probably increase smoothness of gaming on windows phone devices.

MdN, 30 Jul 2013Why not? No really, quad core's major advantage is that it silences Android fanboys who only see things through the perspective of buggy Android. And wasn't the 1020 supposed to have a quad-core that will only use its 4 cores when the update comes?
