        [deleted post]Is funny you mentioned Samsung, for me is the most childish Android UI out there. At least out of the box.
        I mean, is not necessarily a bad thing, for people who like this type of joyful Android UI. Is still better than the minimalistic dark UI of Nothing phones for example.

              In 6-7 months I will probably get it on my Poco F6.
              But hey, I am not complaining or anything, just wanted to point this out.

              That's why people are liking Apple support. You get the software in day 1, no matter if you have iPhone Xs Max or iPhone 15 Pro Max.

              But, I am happy with my 370EUR Poco F6 (12Gb/512Gb version). I get the same performance as with some 700-800EUR Samsung or Apple phones. Not too shabby.

So many apps are supported, there are a lot of thoughtful features, you can sideload, use launchers, icon packs, do whatever you want. Android is really good rn.

                            Installed on the Pixel 8 Pro last night and I've noticed exactly three changes, all regressions in my opinion:

                            1. The Pixel Thermometer app now requires camera permissions to function at all. Previously this was only required if you wanted to use the body temperature tracking. (Admittedly this was pushed via app update, not part of the Android 15 system update.)
                            2. The three-button navigation bar in Firefox is now white buttons on black instead of white buttons on blue. (Could be a Firefox app update, I'm not certain.)
                            3. With auto-rotate disabled, the suggestions to manually rotate are more aggressive and the icon has changed to a white on black toast message, instead of being confined to the three-button navigation bar.

                            And it doesn't really count, but the Easter Egg is ever so slightly different from Android 14.

                                  anyone that has a pixel with a15, would anyone be kind to tell us if google actually locked apk downloads for apps forcing you to get them from google play?
