It's been over a year since android 14 came out and moto insists its hard at work getting the update out with no commitment to when it'll be ready. I wish they'd be more transparent and timely if they're going to promise these updates. Like android 13 works okayish, and i can deal with it, but they shouldnt keep dangling android 14 in front of us like this

2 out of 5 devices in the series is promised 5 major updates. That's less then 50% let alone most of the handsets in the 50 series.

New android versions are e-trash!

Android sucks. We need a brand new operating system without all the embedded spyware. How about HarmonyOS by huawei?

Motorola phones used to come with the worst cameras in the industry. Now that changed. These Edge 50 series have having best cameras. Surprisingly even a telephoto lens can be found in their cheapest Edge phone.

Had X4 for 4 years even it was supported for only 2 years that phone is now 7 years old and still perfectly working. Motorola is great. ňIn many countries data does nto come cheap or people cant afford proper phone. For example Zanzibar. Most people using button phone or phones of ancient times like Iphone 4 or 5 etc.
When you have bad internet coverage and sallary about 2 eur a day you will not spend money for something you ont need that much like internet for example.
Yoour top proiority will be food and water and place to live.

Even here on arena, multiple times they pointed out this thing.
Now that Motorola is starting to see the market trend is good for them. But please don't tell me it was good support in past from them, because it wasn't.
Also, people need to take into consideration that this is just beta program. It could take months until a stable version. And I am not too certain Motorola has the level of software engineers Samsung, Apple or even Xiaomi has.
Maybe they will prove me wrong. Good luck to them.

Great !!
Except SoC, 40 neo is far better.
And it is cheaper
