US Commerce Department probing TSMC as suspected chip supplier to Huawei

Under the current bans, Huawei should not be able to source chips manufactured using American equipment.

Chip making is a collaborative effort from many companies around the world. The us doesn't supply 100% of the technology so should not be able to dictate who ASML or TSMC can sell to.

If I was ASML, I would tell us to go away and make their euv equipment. Same with TSMC, tell the bullying us to get lost and make their own advanced chips.

                                    Not again! Damn! Please USA make your own chip now. Don't wait for TSMC or Samsung. Make your own company and produce chipset only for Apple.
