Samsung Galaxy A36 renders show a new design for the back, promise a slimmer device

Slimmer and a bit narrower, but a millimeter taller than the A35.

              Wow, they claim slimmer device, but 78mm wide, needs both hands to operate, i prefer slimmer device between 68mm to 72mm wide

                  The Geekbench score is most likely fabricated, anything 4 or 5 months before release without exception usually is. Samsung can run benchmark in private

                  The A35 is CPU Octa-core (4x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
                  GPU Mali-G68 MP5

                  On the suggested Qualcomm SoC for the A36, this may be a false conclusion based on the A35's 4+4 configuration hence assumption Qualcomm
                  The A34 and A33 were both 2+6 configuration (BOTH GPU Mali)*** the A36 could / should upgrade to Exynos 1480 as why pay Qualcomm for a SoC you already own.

                  ***A quick looksee same applies to A32 & A31, Samsung have NOT used Qualcomm for the A3* only Exynos and Mediatek SoC.

                      LOL, back to the A50 design? But if this is a sign Samsung is switching ODM, I have high hopes for the A56 and S25FE. Hopefully they get thinner and lighter.

                      But no Exynos? Was expecting the 1480 to trickle down. Wonder why. Is it the yield issue a bigger problem than we thought, affecting not only Exynos 2500, but also other Exynos SoCs?

The Mi Note 10, iPhone X, etc. had this design yeah and Samsung copied this design first back with the Note10/A50 series, yes, but the way they're bringing out after the iPhone 16 released is suspicious. use your tiny little head.

                          They really need to stop spreading themselves so thin. Reduce their product line and compete on price

                            I think it looks really good. Though I also want to mention that hopefully this will still be separate pieces of glass, because as I said before, when a single sheet of glass covers the cameras and cracks, then all cameras are broke and get dusty. What is good on the other hand is that it looks like the ring around the cameras looks raised which should offer protection. And from 8.2mm down to 7.4mm is crazy, that is significantly slimmer and similar to 2013-2014 phone thickness.

                                    I've been using this phone 2 months now. it's very fast, durable and reliable plus the battery is exceptional. I recommend it. go buy it.

                                      Good. My flagship S phone should not look exactly the same as a budget phone.
