I updated my Pixel 6 the other day! Doh!
Any advice. How to go back to 14?

Like each android update was important. Now, since phones are basically pretty mature for the past 2-3 years, they just attempt to make things look more important than they are and then to make you buy new phones they nuke your current one. Apple's been doing it for a long time, android fanboys haven't caught on to it on their phones since most of em are normies and can only say more stuff than they actually understand.

Now it is Scary to Upgrade. Luckily Samsung hold an update till next Year. so i guess they saw it coming, anyways, im planning to upgrade my software 2-3 weeks after update released on my device just incase.

Believe it or not, the users with bricked Pixel 6s are the lucky ones. Every other Pixel 6 user will have to look at Android 15's UI.

It's not only users who had a bricked phone that lose out. Everyone else with pixel 6 starts to lose confidence in their phone and think about replacing it. long software support means nothing if it undermines your confidence in the device and makes you upgrade sooner.

I've never considered using a phone that's marketed as being "long-term friendly" in terms of software due to that reason, the company has all the control and they can nuke it. My S22 Ultra has been feeling sluggish and has been running out of battery lately. Not buying another Samsung again, updates improve things on the surface but the feel of the device is significantly worse.

That is exactly what happened to my pixel 6 pro after installing the android 15 update my phone got super HOT then died on me ... i put it in the fridge to cool down and i managed to turned it on again.
in the morning it went off again by itself without the heat this time.
issue is ongoing.

That's why people are avoiding pixel. Too unstable for common people. I missed the android partnership program making android flagship reference models like nexus with LG, HTC, etc
