OnePlus 13 promises to be the first Android with 120fps Genshin Impact

For me Sd 8 elite and Dimensity 9400 are the same. And they are in real life performance. But price difference is 40$, so i would like to se Dimensity in my phone, and rest of the money invested in bigger battery.

techCurious, 23 Oct 2024If SD 8 Elite is confirmed then S25+ would be better value ... moreYea the more efficient standard SD 8 gen 4 rreally sucks.. Great idea, demand for laptop like cpu in a smartphone because its a bit faster.

These new dark large lens housings look awfull on light case colors. Otherwise look good on grey or darker colors.

It's good that Google has already left Samsung aside this year! If not, Google and its pixels would have eaten up those defective chips....

I bought a new phone one year too early lol Should have waited for the S25.

I mean Exynos 2400 is not sh*t by any stretch and is good for what I use the phone, but it's still not as good as SD.

HyperionBurn, 23 Oct 2024biggest question is going to be the efficiency of these chi... moreStress wise it's looking very good add in the 6000mah + even better , Samsung probably stick with 5000mah

And here's how the OnePlus 13 performed during gaming:
Honor of Kings (Highest Settings):OnePlus 13 maintained a frame rate of 120.5fps at a mere 3W power consumption, while Dimensity 9400 reached 120.7fps at 3.8W and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 managed 114.6fps at 4.28W.
                            Marvel Snap (Highest Settings):OnePlus 13 delivered 59.8fps at 4.07W, compared to Dimensity 9400's 59.3fps at 5.35W and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's 56fps at 6.6W with noticeable heat.
                            Genshin Impact:OnePlus 13 natively supports 120fps, delivering a near-perfect 121fps with only 5.4W power consumption.

Its thermal management is exceptional, keeping the device cool even under intense gaming sessions.

This'll be interesting for sure, especially with the situation with ARM announcing that Qualcomm's licence to make ARM chips will be revoked if they continue to use their custom cores. If Qualcomm isn't able to produce these because of this, — and we all know that Samsung's yields on the Exynos 2500 isn't good enough — then Samsung may be forced to go with MediaTek when the Snapdragon chips run out.

If SD 8 Elite is confirmed then S25+ would be better value between these 3

biggest question is going to be the efficiency of these chips, 8 gen 3 is already pretty powerful and enough for 99% of things.

This isn't suppose to be a debate, when will Samsung just let go of their exynos? Or rather use them in their midrange a5x and sex series since those ones sells better too. Imagine having an s25 ultra that scores lower than another person own despite paying the same or more for a higher storage? I mean there are too big for this chipset division behavior. So annoying for me and sad to others who were victims.

Don't worry guys ! With this decision Samsung will bump the batteries! just like Apple did!
