Exynos 1580 unveiled with Cortex-A720 cores, double the GPU hardware

It uses ARMv9 cores, so A720 and A520 instead of A78 and A55. Also, the RDNA 3 GPU has two Work Group Processors, though performance hasn't doubled.

why does it says 4k 6fps for both 1480 and 1580? the a55 as far as i know cant handle 4k 60fps. and thats a shame!

    The Exynos 1580 does sound promising but Samsung better make this 1580 support 90fps in PUBG and call of duty

                Not too shabby. Finally the new cores are trickling down to mid-range.
                Assuming Samsung went with new ODM this time and make a sleeker device, this might be a good buy,

                    Honestly, this is really good for it's price point, You can even include it in budget gaming friendly phone lists, except this an all-rounder not just a gaming phone

                        Samsung now unveil the A55. My only concern is that if the SD 7 Gen 3 or the SD 7+ Gen 3 in the Nord 4 become more common place in the midrange this new chipset may struggle a little although probably enough for 90% of people.

                          Those improvements looks like they are 1 months apart not 1 year...

                                a56 will be my new phone unless poco brings out x7 pro or f7 phone with SD 8s gen 4

                                        Overall improvement but still its not powerful enough for its class.
                                        This year S24FE was good with far better performance & efficiency than previous FE models.

                                        So my overall thought is to wait for few months & go for S24FE once it gets discounted instead of A56.
