The vanilla X200 was, predictably, the least interesting of the three X200 models.

One of the things that suffer the most because of this is the size of the battery. In dimensions of today's basic S model, there is room to accommodate a 4200-4300mAh battery
but they don't want to invest in the development of new architecture because they don't have to.

Kinda wish they'd also release a V40 Mini with the same 6.3 inch flat screen as the X200 Pro mini. Compact budget/midrange phones are almost nonexistent these days.

Before you reply, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, Xperia 10 VI, and Pixel 8a are all unavailable in my country. And I'm not willing to spend more than $700 just to get a compact phone.

"did vivo bring out one of the best small-but-powerful phones that we’ve seen yet."

                  It did? Where?
'cause I only saw them present 3 giant phones. None of them was small AT ALL in any way. Must be a 4th mysterious phone no one saw...

Will it ever go global? It would be hilarious if Samsung stops releasing vanilla Galaxy S because they can't compete with other brands in this size segment per previous news on this website but then the 200 Pro mini would remain China exclusive.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect gadget - you know, something small enough to slip in my pocket. But it's got to have a battery that lasts, none of that charging every five seconds business. And the camera? Has to be top-notch, I'm trying to capture memories here. Finding all that in one device felt impossible, like searching for a unicorn. But hey, a gadget enthusiast can dream, right?

it's good to see a smaller android phone, but they should also make them in mid-range segment, like what moto did with the edge neo

Small flagships will sell perfectly in this world of 6.8 humongous chunk of disaster with 200+ g of weight

Smartphone has to be between 5.8 and 6 inches to be called mini
The size with bezel like the old days 5.2 and 5.5

Like it or not, Vivo's hardware, camera quality and design have certainly improved. Sadly can't say the same about its software which is almost as bad as Motorola and has too many ads.
