                          jiyen235, 11 hours agoif it were as cheap as the Oneplus 12 or had 512 GB storage... moreAll the Chinese flagships are increasing prices so I'd expect it to increase by 300-400rmb similar to the rest of them. A similar increase to the competition would be acceptable (maybe somewhere within the equivalent of $). If they increase it by a lot more than that then the value is getting less appealing. I think 4,699rmb for the base 12gb 256gb would be a veey good price and it would be extremely competitive at that price. The Oppo Find x8 pro is 5,299rmb for reference and it is basically equivalent or worse in every aspect apart from an extra 6x periscope. Especially the screen and motor are far better on the Oneplus 13

I wanted to get the OPPO find x8 but they dropped band 20 from it. Even though I live in China I am back Europe quite a bit so I'd prefer to have band 20 as it makes a big difference when traveling. I'd expect the Oneplus 13 to have it though unless they completely break with their habits of past years

                              Hikari, 10 hours agoWhy do people bash OnePlus for the green line and not a wor... moreWhat's worse is that it's purely software too. My Galaxy S9 had green lines that rendered the entire screen useless. That is, UNLESS I used always on display.

                              Ofcourse 0 updates from Samsung to fix the issue, enthousiast had to develop a fix in custom kernels. Never scamsung for me since then.

Go to any used phone market and you'll see almost all devices having dots or lines in display are Samsung phones.

                                  Why do people bash OnePlus for the green line and not a word for Samsung?
                                  Lots of Samsung phones, both budget and premium have been notoriously getting green lines after a few years or an update

                                    I just hope the Chinese version has band 20 and can flash oxygen like OnePlus 12 does , will work out much cheaper

IP 68 is only useful when you want to submerge it in water, splashing water has a small force/pressure but when submerged in water, the pressure is higher so that's why IP 68 is cool for that.

                                        No one should do that imo because no one really knows that they're only talking about CLEAN water. I see most people going into swimming pools with chemically fused water or into beaches with salt water. The phone's not properly protected against those. I blame misleading marketing for that.
