Because Xiaomi doubt to produce with huge investation for every model production but the demand is not high. The latter, Xiaomi 14T Pro is sold because Xiaomi predicts the demand is quite good (compared to Vivo 40 Pro and S24 FE).
Singapore, Malaysia, Phillipine, etc sold all models by importing from China. CMIIW

It's all outsourced so I think it's extremely unlikely they have factories in Indonesia. They probably outsource it all to third party electronics manufacturers like in China

I like this approach. With some tweaks this should apply on other products. Companies should put more in the countries where they sell products to help local economy and people.

Good work from my government that I can say, this can reduce people going abroad to buy this iPhone.. it's time for Apple to build a store and factory here.. people buying this from abroad also don't necessarily mean that their iPhone can be used in Indonesia.
There are also authorized resellers here but the prices are very expensive. Now is the time for Apple fan users to try the Android flagship.
