    I'm not saying that I'm one of them, but it's not everyday that I've seen someone running an older version of Android on their phone that actually got software updates. But they call 'em "useless".
    Perhaps this is Google's marketing target. Nasty business, I know.

They usually prefer old flagship over mid range. software support is not that big deal since not all midrange receive long term software support.

              It is simply a trick. These are old phone that had not been sold. So instead of discarding them, they sold them.

                why would you buy 3 years old Pixel instead of newer mid range? unless you really just want Pixel camera quality.

                  Good and all but the prices are terrible when you can buy it new for less biggest thing that worries me is the 6 and 7 were terrible in reception for me, don't waste money on those pixels. Pixel 9 actually made a difference in reception
