Here's when Apple Intelligence will finally arrive in the EU

There's still a lot of patience required, unfortunately.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2024Interesting how you point out only specific things for your... moreI don't see how common charger standard, repairability and carrier price exploitation have changed in favor of consumers.
Prices are extremely high, repairability is non-existent (and nobody would make use of it, I never heard any information in any German newspaper or in any shop that you can repair your phone easier now) and the common charger didn't change anything either. OK, we have only one cable now. So what?

Moreover, you seem to agree with me on EU's practices since you didn't came up with any words on EU's despotism.

Apple's ‘intelligence’ is essentially based on OpenAI, which is pure crap. It invents things that don't exist. I wouldn't advise you to use it to manage your business or your relationships with people you know - it's a disaster. For the sceptics/fanatics, I refer you to the ABC article from 5 days ago entitled ‘Researchers say an AI-powered transcription tool used in hospitals invents things no one ever said’.

In EU, still couldn't care less for "Apple Intelligence" reading through my emails and giving "suggestions"

In this matter, I am on the side of EU, but otherwise the EU is an institution in which the political and oligarchic elite of Europe has joined forces and can make arbitrary decisions without any influence from the people.
Lobbyism, corruption and a shadowy election system are not what people expected from a pan-European institution.

Here are some examples of the most important decisions of recent years:

The EU decided to abolish the change of daylight saving time in 2019, until now the change has not been implemented.
They introduced "tethered caps" for all plastic bottles due to "environmental protection", although statistics say that almost everyone throws the bottles with the cap into the bin (and it is annoying having to tear off the cap in order to drink like a normal person).
Oh, and let's not forget the ban of plastic straws.

Yeah, these are the achievements of the EU. 🤣

iOS 18.0.1 has all the intelligence I need in my phone. Not in a hurry to add more active surveillance and feed Apple more data.

EU officials slamming Apple for not releasing the AI in their region. Yet, their waiting for its release so they can sue apple for not complying in their DMA ruling. EU is greedy in all aspects in my opinion. LOL

p.s.: EU should start developing their own smartphone and ban apple completely. Such a cry baby.
