The same way a 1440p screen is called 2k, this is called a super telephoto. They're technically wrong but the mistake has been repeated so many times that everyone understands what it actually means now.

        why are you so up in arms about a definition? Don't you have anything of worth to talk about? I know what an actual super telephoto is but it's just a phone. You're so annoying man

            When will we get actual new details about the cameras? This is just recycled news that we knew long ago. Quad 50mp camera with dual periscopes. I want to know actual sensors and aperture being used!

                  136 to 300mm is mid.

                  It is definition, not my opinion before you make scandal about.

                    50mp can be also great, but Oppo has to go with larger telephoto sensor like Vivo, around 1,4''-1,7'' with macro capabilities, otherwise it still won't be as good as Vivo's.

                    For Vivo x200 Ultra I think it will have greater zoom than x100 Ultra with 200mp around 4x-5x like Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

The Magic6 Pro's photos are ALL unnatural, be it main, UW or telephoto, they all look artificial to me. The X200 Pro is overprocessed. The X100 Ultra's photos are exceptional, imo.

                        Ofc they can't beat a large optical zoom lens but compared to a 1/2" to a 1/2.51" 6x sensor? It's leagues ahead.

                            200mp telephoto camera is so much better than anything so far.
                            It's crazy to put anything else on new models.

                                  Damn Oppo innovated so much with the Find X6 Pro that they could afford to slow down a little with the X7 Ultra, and now they aren't doing much else? interesting.

                                  The super telephoto should've been the 200 MP sensor, Vivo and Xiaomi are gonna destroy this in zoom range. The 3x most likely will be replaced with the LYT-600, just like the UW cam was. The future of Oppo's phones doesn't seem very bright if they keep this up. Unless the super telephoto is like 1/1.56", it ain't gonna be good enough to beat the Vivo or Xiaomi Ultras. Hope the price stays the same as last year at least.
