Glad it's on LCD. For those that looks for OLED go with Samsung, enjoy the low PWM vibrant screen and get ur eye blind faster

I really want to get a Xiaomi tablet for the interconnectivity feature but why do they all use crappy IPS? I love consuming content on my Samsung OLED,it's so vibrant so idk why Xiaomi can't put the same tech to their tablets

This tab reaching 800 nits on pure white display, even tab s9 ultra can only reach 600nits on pure white
White display with black text have more readibility in the sunlight
Of course, you can use those 800 nits without overheating like oled

Konrad Lorenz, 30 Oct 2024Or because of an increased touch sampling rate? Btw, I'... moretouch sampling rate is not going to be super power hungry, it's just a sensor like any other and even if 500 hz uses double the power, 2x of 0.1-1W isn't that crazy. I'm no engineer so idk how much power these sensors suck.
Anyways, I was talking about just the display, and actually, a brighter display is more power hungry than a high refresh rate one but if brightness is equated then yeah higher refresh rates will suck more power, but brightness/size of the screen are far more important factors in terms of power requirements/heat management. Weird tangent ik but im just sayin man, OLEDs are just super power hungry
