I try to make this very simple for you. Mac only owns very small amount marketshare from the computer market, Mac can't compete with cheap market PC's. So why would Apple care marketshare? Only important thing is if they can keep their users and get even more users and growing their userbase. Exactly what that they are doing.

Also if Apple would care about marketshare with their phones they would just make one cheap model which compete in low-end segment, but why would they do that and lose sales from the top end models which makes most of the money.

      Wrong, marketshare doesn't matter at all as long as sales are high. Sales can be high and still losing marketshare because the whole market is growing faster and it usually grow in price segment where Apple isn't even competing. So it's not in Apple hands. Just like Apple kept losing marketshare with iPhone and yet sales been very big year after year, because Apple owns the price segment where they compete.

If you like Apple tablets and the Apple market share keeps declining, it's good for you because in that case Apple will probably try its best to be competitive. Why do you care so much about Samsung, though? If Samsung loses its market share, it's good for people who like Samsung tablets because in that case Samsung will probably try its best to be competitive. Ideally, there should be at least 3 leading companies with comparable market shares, so they will try their best to compete with each other and that will benefit the consumers. Currently, the tablet market share is unbalanced, but it's possible that it will be more balanced in the future.

Also if what you say going to happen Samsung going the be biggest loser in that scenario, because those who want Android tablet have even more choices, just like it was with smartphones when Huawei did well, Samsung was biggest loser while Apple kept selling lot of iPhones. Samsung can thank USA for getting their sales back.

It'll take a long time, though. Currently, both Apple and Samsung are still very strong despite the declines.

Samsung tablet sales been almost stagnant for years and i don't see any trend what would change that, they just lack the potential userbase. iPad is clear winner and will be in future too selling average over 10M in every q which Samsung haven't ever reached, ever! For example Q2 Apple sold 12.3M iPads and Samsung their tablets 6.9M, not even close. Just like it wasn't Q3 either.

              And well let's look the Q1 too. iPad 12M Samsung 6.8M. Don't you know see how far Samsung really is Q after Q

                  Zero chance to happen. Don't you understand how big difference it is between Apple and Samsung sales wise? Apple sells over 10M iPads almost every q, Samsung have never been able to sell 10 million.

The cheapest iPad provides good value, though. Also, the iPad Air is good. Apple may be in the lead for the next 10 years, but I believe that its market share will keep declining, and the gap between Apple and Samsung may be reduced to only a few percent.

It's only during COVID android makers gave proper attention to tablets. And we can see Xiaomi, bbk and Samsung making inroads. Even infinix Tecno getting into business. If you're saying apple will lead the market for the next decade then yes it will. But it will not decimate the competition like before. If Chinese tablets become mainstream like it was Huawei then maybe iPad will suffer the same fate as because of Huawei before trump's intervention

                            actually lenovo made very good tablet lately
                            other android manufacturer should made mini tablet, no more than 8 inch or the size of ipad mini

                              I believe it's because Tab S9FEs seem like they've absolutely cornered the market. Wherever I look there is is propped up with a case

                                Toyota is reliable? It depends on where you live tbh. It might be reliable on the North America market, but their quality is crap in Southeast Asia market (it's mostly a rebadged Daihatsu, after all). Can't say your brand is the best if you can't keep the quality control of your cars the same all over the world.
                                It's just similar to the iPad. Stage Manager is not as good as the Mac counterpart.
                                Sure, you got M4, but can you use the power the same way you use it on Mac? Definitely nope. I'm not saying that Android tablet is better (because apart from DeX mode in Samsung, I'm also not a big fan of most UIs of Android tablet, including default One UI), but imo iPadOS is not really the best UI for tablet either.
