If it was slim based on newer silicon carbon battery technology it would be cool

But we know Samsung they are going to make it slim
By only reducing battery capacity and cutting down specs and tech charging $200 extra

They go back to the single layer pcb design which is the thickest part of modern smartphones to make each half of the phone much thinner. This is likely just a z fold without hinge.

This is what Samsung calls innovation

Literally who cares? Why would I want a slimmer phone? Worse battery life, worse performance (because less space for a vapour chamber and for heat to dissipate) and worse cameras are a terrible trade-off for a barely noticeable reduction in thickness and a noticeable if subtle reduction in weight. Plus, people will slap a case on this thing anyway, because it 100% will use a glass back, and phones this slim will provide worse grip. Brands did this a decade ago and stopped quite quickly because of all the compromises, and these are now worse in a day and age where we have camera bumps.

Imagine they use an Exynos for this yet have a higher price tag, that'd be great. Taking advantage of Samsung consumers is always great.

                      Something like 7.0 is pointless.

Zendroid, 8 hours agoSlim = low battery and high temperature. Gj. It doesn't have to suffer from either issue. A thinner device also has less space for the heat to travel through, so the heat transfers quicker to the screen, resulting in potentially better temps. Also this could use one of the new batteries, if it does, that is a good sign for the other S25U models, let alone for those to come

The lineup that really needs a slim version are the A5x and S FE series. The regular S series are slim and light enough already.

If it will perform just like the normal S25 then that will be a good move from Samsung although it might have worse throttle management then the normal S25
