So looks like old SoC's are better and cheaper..

                    The battery on the plus model is almost as big as a tablet, which is insane, while also lasting 4x longer lifespan.

                          Personal Opinion, 14 Nov 2024false scam alarm .. they never had an ultra..As per DigitalChatStation, the Ultra model might be release in the Q2 of next year as a replacement for the S models.

But by your own research we know we're not ... moreHi Man, I think all other manufacturers will have an increase not just RedMagic in prices as the new Snapdragon 8Elite and that new UFS4.1 Pro as well as the new LPDDRX5 Ultra RAM is way, way pricier than the ones before it cause these are new technologies.

                            Other new components and techs found on the new RM10Pro that might've increased the cost are:
                            - Use of the new Silicon Carbon battery technology
                            - New UDC with collaboration with BOE with 1.5k resolution, super thin bezels and 144Hz bump
                            - New R3 Gaming chip which can now upscale games from 720p to 1440p output
                            - Other cooling components like liquid metal etc, new Omnivision main and UW sensors.

                            I think the price increase is justified with these new technologies packed in a still affordable package bro. And the increase in price of the new RM10Pro models are not even around 5%:
                            256+12: 4999 = 690.92USD
                            16+512: 5999 = 870.59USD

                                      keyvann92, 13 Nov 2024And no software update -_-Even without software update with such specs it can last 10 years very easily doing all tasks running all games and even after 3 years it will be 10 times better and faster than Samsung Google or Sony flagships mean the 24GB/1TB combo with said charging speeds cooling system and 960 hz refresh rate.

                                        Just one simple question why a gaming phone needs a nokia 3310 macro camera.
                                        Round back, there are two 50MP cameras (wide 1/1.5-inch OV50E40, and ultrawide OV50D), and a 2MP macro sensor.

                                        By the way whats the golden edition will have as extra it cost 300 more.
