            The battery on the plus model is almost as big as a tablet, which is insane, while also lasting 4x longer lifespan.

But by your own research we know we're not ... moreHi Man, I think all other manufacturers will have an increase not just RedMagic in prices as the new Snapdragon 8Elite and that new UFS4.1 Pro as well as the new LPDDRX5 Ultra RAM is way, way pricier than the ones before it cause these are new technologies.

                    Other new components and techs found on the new RM10Pro that might've increased the cost are:
                    - Use of the new Silicon Carbon battery technology
                    - New UDC with collaboration with BOE with 1.5k resolution, super thin bezels and 144Hz bump
                    - New R3 Gaming chip which can now upscale games from 720p to 1440p output
                    - Other cooling components like liquid metal etc, new Omnivision main and UW sensors.

                    I think the price increase is justified with these new technologies packed in a still affordable package bro. And the increase in price of the new RM10Pro models are not even around 5%:
                    256+12: 4999 = 690.92USD
                    16+512: 5999 = 870.59USD

                                Just one simple question why a gaming phone needs a nokia 3310 macro camera.
                                Round back, there are two 50MP cameras (wide 1/1.5-inch OV50E40, and ultrawide OV50D), and a 2MP macro sensor.

                                By the way whats the golden edition will have as extra it cost 300 more.

Rhey do it cause they can and not because it's worth it. It's as if they just slapped on a price didn't even try to make it obvious why they did it. Back panel is toned down over the years but still not something you would get tired of. It has objectively bad cameras for the price range and bootloader unlocking is unknown and probably will remain so cause this kind of product rarely attracts a community like OnePlus 1, Poco F1, Nexus 5 and other similar phones did. The SD 870 got so popular and loved that someone even figured out how to install full fledged windows 11 on a Xiaomi Pad 5. I wouldn't even fuss about poor software support if my bank app didn't hit me with a prompt aaying devices anything below android 12 aren't secure enough to run it. I can't login to my banking ever aince my OnePlus 7 Pro died abruptly just like precious 2x OnePlus 2 died abruptly. I'm never buying a OnePlus product ever again for that btw, that's 3 too many phones that up and just died for no reason at all. While my ancient Lenovo P70-A still runs and has better battery backup than OnePlus 7 Pro did even when new, mind you that's almost a 9 year old phone now and I'm currently on Lenovo K10 Note since the OP7P died. I practically baby my electronics and there isn't even a scratch on phones that exclusively I have used. Was so hopeful for Redmagic 10 but that's too greedy of a peice tag IMHO.

                                    If there's no proper competition, like the Razer phone, ROG Phone 7, the Black Shark 5 or something like those, then ZTE can price it as high as they want to. It's not worth it for me and 99% of other people but for someone who uses their phones solely for the sake of gaming? This is perfection.

I don't really see why the new Redmagic is so expensive. TBH I feel like ZTE is raising prices quite rapidly since Redmagic 7 simply because nobody else really (including Asus) is making a phone like this. I don't really believe in the orice of uniqueness either, end of the day it's still a candybar phone that people like us lean toward because brands just don't make consumer friendly phones now. I miss the old school LG for putting everything and the kitchen sink (figurative) in there phones, Sony (the only comoany I ever fanboyed over) still makes tiny phones with unreasonably narrow aspect ratio. Idk man, even though the SoCs are better than ever it's just too hard to justify these price gouging. I want this but can't afford to spend everything money on a most of the things phone but man is that 3.5mm audio jack ever enticing. Moreover the pro and pro plus is just storage and Ram and absolutely nothing else, that doesn't even warrant a pro branging, especially in a gaming phone. Seems Redmagic lived long enough to become the villain eh.... Shucks
