In simple landscape & buildings, the Ai can fake the limitations of the sensor by recreating image. However when it comes to faces & complex textures, you see the 200mp max zoom fails miserably. Unless the 200mp is 4 inch sensor...then we see real gains over the 50mp.

The circular arrangement is weird. I visualize the proper placement of these cameras similar to Mi 11 Ultra (oh boy, the legend), this long telephoto would perfectly go below on the left and those 3 other cams on top with the main 1" one being top right (otherwise they both will consume too much space if placed nearby). That would make a wireless charging more convenient (for those who use low-powered thin power banks for extra battery) and more free space, thus a potential for even bigger batteries

Anonymous, 15 Nov 2024And when was the last time you used 3x camera? When I took photos with a cat, about 2 weeks ago. But I don't go outside often, so.
But I don't like Samsung's teles because they're too small.
            x3 and x5 sounds a bit strange. Maybe 35mm + 70mm would be better. Or 65mm + 130mm.

If true, exciting to see the different module sizes. Assuming the left one is 1" then the middle one is proportionally too big for a 1/2.5" IMX 858. Rather in the 1/1.5"-1/2" range. If this is the 2 or 3x telephoto, this would be a very welcome upgrade over the smallish IMX858

Weird they are putting in a crappy selfie camera. One way to get around is to put in a eink screen at the back and use the main/UW for selfie. Or put in something good in the front.

So, we saw that coming and everyone was saying 'No way! That's ugly!' :D

I even saw renders on X and people were saying 'Good job with PS!' :D

Honestly, I didn't believe either. I thought it was the job some designers. Producers chose the symmetric approach(more or less) with locating the cameras and this one is an interesting one. I wanna see how it looks in hand.
