MasTomi, 19 hours agoyeah. 1 camera from flagship, put it on the corner to free ... moreYes that will be better. And with the new silicon batteries, they can put even bigger batteries. Perhaps they can fit 6500 mah battery in a regular 6.5 inch phone that way

I don't understand why people want that many cameras on a phone. One is enough, for front and back

          Best Xiaomi phone in 2025.

The medium telephoto as per DCS will be the same as last year, IMX858 paired with a 70mm equivalent focal length (down from 75mm) at f/1.8. I can see also that the tiny Samsung JN5 may be confirmed, so we will see how it will perform. And of course the behemoth HP9 for the long telephoto.

Now the only thing to be confirmed is the main camera. DCS said in a Weibo post that the main camera will be still a 50MP module with a 23mm equivalent focal length at f/1.6, but the physical focal length has been increased from the 8.7-ish millimeters of the 14 Ultra. This could mean that Xiaomi may go beyond 1-inch and use a MFT sensor, which would be a major improvement, just like the HP9 for the long tele.

I remember DCS was hyping up the idea that the main camera of the 15 Ultra will be MFT, so this may correlate.

It's amazing how big a 1 inch camera is...
