until samsung bring latest designs like punch hole camera or 5 mp macro and 8/12 mp ultrawide, true stereo speakers, ip rating to above 5/6, adapter in the box, 3.5 mm headphone jack with headphones in-the-box to low-end phones they want be in lead of sales. their software is good but lacks in design and hardware, hardware can be ignore if it runs smoothly with software but design can't be ignore and that's the issue with them.

Anton .el PAPI., 12 hours agoVivo will displace Samsung from this and part of Europe, in... moreI'm not shocked why Nokia, a far smaller brand with minimal market share, had more smartphone sales compared to Samsung in our country. Xiaomi leads (again overpriced in our market for what it is), followed by Nokia, Honor (marketed as "From the creators of Huawei"), Vivo, ZTE, and finally, Oppo and Samsung. The rest are basically second hand phones sold by customs officers and henchmen.

Bbk and Transsion are now winning asian markets, samsung is falling because of releasing mediocre overprice midrange, and still the greenline trauma is not over its still happening on latest flagships.
iphone have greenscreen issue but its easier to repair compare to most android devices.

Although Oppo or Vivo are market leaders now, I believe they aren't the primary ones eating into Samsung's market share (quite possibly gaining share at the expense of Realme and OnePlus). Prospective Samsung customers are probably being eaten into by Motorola in the budget segment and Apple (and Pixel to some extent) in the premium segment.

What happened to the people that say this:
Vivo and oppo release a new phone every week it's confusing the consumers and they should stop!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭
I don't know why tech savvy people assume that the average consumer gets confused.. the average consumer doesn't have all the data to get confused with in the first place

Samsung will be back in business in India if they launch a new M phone with good snapdragon chip like they did few years ago but in flagships that won't be the case if they don't decrease their prices specially considering the battery life is worse in base S24 series compared to base iphone16.

In recent years, Vivo has been developing innovative products in the mobile market, with a particular focus on premium design. Samsung is also pursuing a similar strategy, which could be one reason for its success. However, Samsung is currently working on innovations in its AI module, which may take more time to reach a leading position in the world.

In the premium segment 80% people buy iPhones only 15% buy the S24 series and that is when these phones are great but they could have amazing only if Samsung would stop cutting costs like it's a budget phone. S24 FE is a good phone for the price but Exynos so a lot of people go for OnePlus instead. And in the lower segments is where Samsung makes most of its profit from the country as they sell some of the most overpriced yet painfully bloated phones with embarrassing processors. Yeah doesn't help you gain respect.
