        I do think this has the potential to be very disruptive to Apple’s existing iPhone line up. If they can get the pricing right, and by that I mean starting at less than £500, then it’s basically going to absolutely cannibalise the 14 and 15 series sales to the point where they might as well instantly discontinue them the moment this is released.

        It’s Apple though, so personally I wouldn’t be surprised to see a higher price. Again though that will risk overlapping or coming dangerously close to the 14 and 15 series. So either way really, both those models and the existing SE (obviously) have to go as soon as this arrives.

          It's crazy $500 used to be flagship price but now its the budget price. And its not just Apple. Samsung and Google Pixel too.

            The ones attracted to this will be those after free phones with contract (this will be popular amongst prepaid carriers), or mid range Android users wanting to switch. Obviously this won’t attract the low end or entry level users.

                  This phone is more aimed as an introduction to the world of Apple iPhone. Perhaps for those wanting their first iPhone
