What's with these horrible yellow, faded piss-stain colors? S24 Ultra had it too. Yuck. Just make it white.

Actually the zoom is only 2x optical not 2.7x as the main camera is 35mm and 2x35=70

Say what you want, the Z70 Ultra is not ahead of the curve or any other Chinese manufacturer in hardware, and that's a fact. Sure, it's great for the price, I won't dispute that. But it's not the best option for 90-95% of people

✔️ Best industrial design of any phone
✔️ Large battery for its size
✔️ better camera focal length for main camera than most other flagships + 1/1.56in is large enough for flagship image quality. that's why most flagships have moved away from the 1-in sensor trend.
✔️ best price for SD8E chip
✔️ 144hz > 120hz
✔️ Fast charging > wireless charging. nobody uses it after the fad died down.
No other flagship can compete right now. The phones that all praise themselves for software updates (iPhones, Pixels, Galaxies), all lose to the Z70 Ultra in almost all design, hardware spec, and benchmark comparisons.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2024Oh no! It doesn't have this specific niche spec, whate... moreDon't waste your time man. Those whiners will always be there no matter what. No matter what the subject is, what the platform or the forum is, no matter how much explaining you do, they'll never go away because that's their entire angle on life in general. Negative Nancies crying and whining 24/7 about something or another because that's simply all they've spent most of their lives doing.
And just to be abundantly clear, I fully support criticism when it actually provides value. Even here on GSMArena, I fully support people who leave comments criticizing certain aspects of some phones while elaborating on their arguments and explaining what their reasoning is such as comments about some camera sensors that aren't exactly good and why that is, or why some chipsets are not very good when it comes to certain use cases like emulation and what not. That's constructive criticism/feedback that helps the community make better purchasing decisions and I consider that very valuable. But these lazy, low effort and mostly uninspired "No [insert feature name] = No buy" are very lame and don't hold any value whatsoever because not only are they a subjective personal preference, they are also almost never accompanied by any good reasoning. Like, yeah you don't like that the phone doesn't have that feature, just go buy another one that has it. Why do we all need to know about it?

GSMjo, 21 Nov 2024“BOE-made amoled panel”
I thought amoled is a trademark na... moreThe term AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) refers to a type of display technology and is a generic, industry-wide term, not exclusive to Samsung. Companies like BOE, LG Display, and others can use the term AMOLED because it describes the technology itself, rather than a specific brand or proprietary implementation.
Samsung's trademarks, such as Super AMOLED or Dynamic AMOLED, represent their own advancements and branding within the AMOLED category. These terms are proprietary and cannot be used by other companies without permission. However, AMOLED as a standalone term remains open for use by any company producing displays using that technology.

When are you people going to learn that the perfect phone doesn't exist? And if it had that sensor, you would complain about something else, because you're never content with anything.
Just buy a phone with that fingerprint sensor if it's so important to you, what's the big deal, it's not like the market is saturated with smartphones which have all kinds of features tailored to specific kinds of people.
