Samsung's latest ad tells you to do your own thing instead of being an iSheep

It doesn't use such strong language, but the implication is clear.

DaFink, 02 Dec 2024‘Right, you turned "45"....’ well, prove I didn’t... moreYou probably have hard times understanding who you are, as it seams you have hard times grasping what you say and what your words actually mean. As for me, i never said you said apple is the best, i said your attitude implies your believes...that apple is the best, and it shows again in your last comments. I also never said that i am better and smarter then apple users, i said that android is better and smarter then ios and a person can use it a lot more as a tool then a crappy ios phone, no matter what person, i also gave some pretty good examples. And all of this while you "cry" here about how you can do the same with an ios device as one can do with android one, letting out the examples.. probably because you know that besides the part about calling, sending emails, texting or installing apps, something that even feature phone can do since... well almost ever, you pretty much are out of them examples...and i probably know why, probybly you have no idea what i am talking about and what android actually is capable of. So yeah from there comes my assumption that i am not talking with somebody that knows what i am talking about, the "tehc savvy" remark. And this goes further and further with pretty much everything you said. Funny you do not realise that words are not the essence in this discution, but facts are, and you fail horribly at telling facts but try hard to manipulate with twisted words and perceptions. So again an arrogant person full of himself, accusing others of being what he actually is. Bravo.

Your going to have to go back and point out exactly where I have ever insinuated “apple is the best” ???

You won’t, as it’s not something I would say or even imply. I leave telling everyone else what is or is not ‘the best’ to the plethora of others infesting this site, those who seem to be of the mind that whatever they say, goes.

‘If you try to fit in, you won’t stand out, so please all of you, buy a Samsung 👍’…

Anyway, I really don’t care what you have a hard time with to be honest, it’s just another example of your arrogance. Millions of people from all walks of life and with many different skill sets get along just fine with iOS. And as I said before somewhere among those skills will no doubt be a level of technical proficiency that’s dwarfs even what you imagine yours to be. So were there some massive divide of capabilities between the two os’s then I’m fairly certain the numbers moving from iOS to Android would be far greater than they are. There are niche differences sure, but after nearly two decades on the market both systems are mature and capable, offering all the functionality required.

Ultimately what this boils down to (as it often does on this site) is a small but incessantly vocal cadre of self styled smartphone elitists who like to think the choice of mobile os is an arbitrary method of judging millions of perfect strangers on their technical knowhow. And that they have chosen one over the other automatically makes them superior in this regard.

With an attitude of "apple is the best" and calling my attitue childish🤦🏻‍♂️, anyway, no time for bs.
I have hard times finding what ios user can do more then android users, or what apple OS's alltogether users can do more then whatever other systems users, very hard times. Especially after working in the business for more then 20 years, really i can't find the "apple does this and that", more like "apple does not do this and that". But hey, you believe it, it suits the ecosystem😉.
As for the keyboard i use, is actually one of the best. It definetly has no problems with accuracy, but thanks for your concern😉.

I wasn’t ‘diluting’ the importance of options, that is a daft comment anyway, everyone has options no matter what smartphone operating system they use. And my original point stands, millions of people get along just fine with iOS, that does not automatically make them less tech capable than you. You may find some among them able to accomplish more with their iPhone than you think you can with whatever you are using 🤷‍♂️

You know what dude, reading all the grammatical and spelling errors you missed in that little rant of yours, I’d suggest you worry less about the privacy of what ever keyboard your using and a little more about accuracy.

DaFink, 27 Nov 2024not being judgemental?!?!?!....seriously, do you even read ... moreI fail to see how am i Hypocrite in here, i tought it was clear enough to see that i am all for freedom of usage and of choice and well, mostly for android. I do not remember acting like i do not.
I also never said that you said that ios is better. I said that, when you say that you can do with ios exactly what you can do with android and the other way around, you either do not use them at full potential or you use the basics, but you can't just come here and delute the importance of options just because you do not use them. Tgat is my sayin per short. And in my opinion you tried to delute android options importance with your claims, so i just provided some strong back't up claims, that you are wrong. And even if for you, as a person is the same, you can't comment on behalf of all smartphone users, as it seems you like to play with words, so much for hypocrisy... as for "kido", better restrain from shouting such things, you might find out that a 45 years old dude, is older then you and with more tech experience..
As for tech savvy, you are right, i do not know how much tech you know, but i know what i know, and you, tacking your own claims in consideration, do not.
As for IOS, you might be right, not everybody needs choice and most of the people would be OK with the system. Hack i would have recomand it for many people if it would have been done by an open source software company and would have been able to be installed on more then just one device. IOs might be ok, but apple is not ok, so i just can't recomand a system from a company that brainwashes it's users and forces them into a greedy ecosystem that was to late for them to realise. Such comoanys should not be supported, but should be questioned.

                    Hahahahahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Samsung says "do your own thing" when they are literally the apple of android who have monopolised the android market and sell essentially the same thing with little change and use "sheep" like design for their products to the point you cannot tell the difference between any of the devices from the past 5 years. Oh and then constantly lie to their customers about why the are giving you less in the box but you are paying more and lying about features the device has. Classic Samsung.

You have no idea how tech savvy I may be, suffice to say it's enough that I can get by quite easily with either system. And I didn't say iOS was better kiddo, on the contrary it's you trying to state conclusively which is the best. Hypocrite!

I get it. As a long time Samsung user I have understood Apple is just better.

DaFink, 24 Nov 2024Sorry didn’t see that you put an earlier reply to my same p... moreWell, just because you delute the value of "having options, features and capabilities" does not mean that you are also right and only this "power users" are complaing, as this is not true. I get it, you do not like having options and are not that tech savy, but options are more important then what you like. Maybe for you (and many others) IOS is enough but that does not make it better or the same to android, it is not close to it. I use a lot of side-loading because i use many open-source apps, especially very important ones like keyboard, sms, calling, calendar and so on. Yeah, keyboard is your Privacy, your passwords and pretty much who you are and what you are writing in a nutshell. Keyboard, even tough so "uninteresting" for you it is one of the most important parts of your system, and if that is made by apple or google...well have fun. I made it darn sure that what i type remains on my device, one of the reason side-loading is so important.
As for shortcuts app? I mean, that is not automation, automation is something else and way more complex then some shortcuts app, take a look at tasker or macrodroid, they you understand automation, but well you'll maybe not understand as this apps are for users that know a lot more then just some settings on a phone. Not being judgemental here, just saying.

DaFink, 24 Nov 2024Such as? 🤔1. Work. Automation of alarms (on if working days, off if vacantion) based on calendar entries, automation of profiles (based on day and time of day), automation of network connection based on location, can be easily achived with macrodroid.
                            2. Local network NAS files backup automation with FolderSync and Macrodroid, avoiding uploading of personal stuff on someone elses cloud, something you're pretty much forced in ios.
                            3. Personalization of the device...do i really need to explain? Hope not.
                            4. Able to quick use the device as USB stick when needed, avoid unnecesary devices to carry. By just plugin it in, in no matter what PC and select to use it's mass storage. This days everyone has a Type C with file transfer ablilities at home, if not, they should.
                            5. Sideloading of open-source software, givin the user a multitude of options on how to use it's device.
                            6. Ability to use strong ad blockers and kill app connection to internet via apps like Rethink DNS

And the list can go on.

android shows its diversity with togetherness but samsung doesn't shows that instead they choose to go other way but still using android as their choice of partner. this is duplicity and ignorance at its best.

samsung and google should've made ads together with keeping android at front. that would be a good ad for android showing its msg.

to fit in with others you don't have do the same as others.
you can be different (leader) and still be with others (leadership) without doing the same thing (unique way to do the things).

Have you ever seen Samsung thinking different?
Their S24 line up looks exact same copy of iPhones except camera module.
Samsung copies each and every feature, colour and material choice (Now Titanium) from Apple.
Apple took 3.5mm jack off the iPhone, Samsung did it too.
Apple stopped shipped charger with iPhone, Samsung stopped shipped charger with S series phones but they still pack charger with their cheap shit A, J & M series phones.
Samsung should never be mocking Apple because they themselves are still trying to copy iPhone even after 17 years.
