Samsung's latest ad tells you to do your own thing instead of being an iSheep

It doesn't use such strong language, but the implication is clear.

Ironic being that aside from popularising foldable and modern flip phone, all Samsung phone has been the same (S23/+, S24/+ and even S25/+, S22U until S25U, Z Flip 5 and Z Flip 6, Z Fold 2 until Z Fold 6). There is like only 10% change between the oldest and latest.

Even Samsung themselves know that their latest Z Fold 6 is way behind the competitors that they are forced to release a Z Fold Special Edition to try to compete.

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2024The irony. Everyone is using Qualcom or MediaTek while Sam... moreEven apple improves their phones durability with a new glass every few years, while samsung flagships, they fail on every drop test. That clearly looks like innovation lol

Funny thing is, despite apple being slow with upgrades, the latest iphone series beings a lot of upgrades compared to S series

Idk why samsung thinks they're different, they're actually far behind right now. So maybe that does make them different in a way

Funny that samsung talks about innovation when their own smartphone division has been stagnant since quite a while.
Also, not everyone is interested in switching to a folding form

Innovation is, the new battery tech in chinese phones, faster charging and overall battery lifespan and health, a higher IP rating, better water resistance, a better device durability and drop protection, that is innovation, and not simply mocking others in a shameless ad. That is just desperation

Says the company that follows every rumoured upcoming Apple trend.

Xiaomi aside, Samsung is the biggest iSheep of them all.

            The irony.
Everyone is using Qualcom or MediaTek while Samsung sells portable stoves.

Everyone implements DC or high PWM dimming while Samsung uses 10 year old stocks of eye-cancer™ AMOLED panels.

Everyone moves to higher charging speeds and silicon carbon batteries while Samsung is reusing Lithium Ion batteries from 50 years ago.

Most of these points applies to Apple as well. They are practically the same company.

Lmao 2 companies fighting over who can make the least upgraded phone year on year and get away with it.

Both companies suck anyhow. Samsung trolling users with their Exynos chipsets, Apple on other hand bringing in Android features users had for years.
Literally so far only Xiaomi and OnePlus have proven themselves worthy of giving audience something. And Huawei was amazing until it stopped having Google play and being limited on sales worldwide.

                  Would have worked if:
They hadn't removed headphones jack like apple
                  Sdcard
Mocked apple for notch then adapted notch
Mocked apple for removing charger in the box, then doing exactly that

Am I forgetting something? So yeah, sammy is in no position to call iSheep.

How ironic from Samsung. This company releases same phone year by year with little difference except "AI Software"

As much as I would like to do my own thing, my options are very limited since the one I want from a less popular brand isn't going global apparently.
