The 501 performs very well with the minimal specs and if Nokia ever put it on one of the Lumia phones it would be amazing.
Sad fact is that won't happen as CEO Elop (former Microsoft exec) will probably sell off the mobile phones division to Microsoft and you can't have devices competing on different platforms.
How embarrassing would it be to have Lumia models with Asha OS outselling WP8 models.

Bankrupt HTC ? Kidding me ? HTC is in LOW PROFITS , compared to 2011 , not LOSS !

Show me a link where it says HTC is in loss ! It will just say declining profits.Other than that they have management problems.
Over all Nokia is a bigger company than HTC, but simply saying HTC is going Bankrupt is silly.

People just don't know until they get it home and try to do some simple things that Android and Apple users take for granted....such as being able to go back or forward to web pages in your browser.

Micro$oft simply doesn't care. Add those basic features on your OS which was created 10 years ago then your OS will be good.

After Apple, no other manufacturers are selling more than 12 million smartphones per quarter. In fact, their sales are very close to each other ranging from 7-12 million only. And Nokia is now in a better situation than HTC which is probably on the verge of bankruptcy now.

nokia dont make me laugh, lumia 1020 is not going to get you that much profit! If you really want to increase your profit, you should use Symbian or Android. However it is too late to catch up to the BIG 4 (Samsung,Sony,HTC,LG) due to your stubborness. I had a Lumia 920 then 925 but not much difference at all! i was sick of plain tiles, so i just switched to Galaxy s4 and it was amazing!

So many annoying posters in this board. For the nth time, Nokia is not going to make Android phones EVER! Android will only exploit and spoil their exclusive software and services. They're better off with Windows Phone. So stop whining about Nokia not using Android because it's not going to happen ever. I have both an HTC One and a Lumia 920 and there is nothing really compelling about Android.

I have a Lumi... moreand regarding the design i coudn't imagine a better design than lumia 925, not too rounded like samsung, not too sharp edges like sony, just the perfect size neither so thick or thin, neither too big or too small, that metallic frame with polycarbonate back panel with very distinct look is just awesome. I think Nokia should keep this design for some future phones also

I prefer it more than 1020 because i'm not much addicted to camera, however 925 camera is a margin better than 920 and also better than most 12-13 mpx other phones. Its amoled display is amongs the best ones. Unluckily no 32gb sim free version yet. Price is %20 more than 920
