The affordable Redmi K80 is equipped with an SD 8 Gen 3 and a massive 6,550 mAh battery

The phone also has an IP68 rating and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the beautiful 6.67" 12-bit display, but is one camera short compared to the K80 Pro.

Cyberchum, 05 Dec 2024I didn't complain about it, but I also didn't try... more"An affected consumer has every right to complain. If you don't like it, ignore it. Here isn't your sitting room."

What if the affected consumer isn't getting what they want, even after relentlessly complaining for many years? Did someone ever teach you as a kid that you can't always get what you want in your life?

Besides, we can say whatever we want to anyone here as long as we aren't breaking any rules, and you can't stop us. Here isn't your sitting room either.

"Meanwhile, the comment from the so-called reasonable person: If you want 3.5mm jack and memory card slot, go buy a low end phone with crappy performance. In what world is that nonsense reasonable? In null and void, I guess. 🤡"

Out of the dozens of phone manufacturers today, only Sony and HTC are willing to keep the jack and card slot for their high-end phones. However, they are not available in all countries, and are way overpriced for what they offer. Besides, Sony and HTC are past their prime, so it's not like only a couple thousand customers will threaten bigger manufacturers like Samsung and Xiaomi and force them to bring those two features back.

If you still want a high-end phone with a jack and card slot but Sony and HTC aren't available where you live, what options do you have? None.

What can you do about it then? Comply with the times and accept the fact that the jack and card slot are slowly disappearing on all phones. Sorry pal, that's just how capitalism works, and you can't fight it cause you're in the minority.

Cyberchum, 06 Dec 2024Now, you've finally told a joke, young bloke. 😂 So you aren't young then? Wew that's sadder.

Cyberchum, 05 Dec 2024I didn't complain about it, but I also didn't try... moreBuddy, you can spend your whole life complaining about companies doing whatever anti-consumer stuff they usually do, but one thing's for sure: they won't bring those features back as long as people keep buying their products. The vocal minority who still care about those features mean nothing to them, because they only make up a small portion of phone users.

Why should you buy a low-end phone with crappy performance if you want the card slot and headphone jack? Because as someone below me already mentioned, it's how the current market is, unless you're willing to spend €1000+ on the Sony Xperia 1 VI, which isn't even widely available. This rule can be applied to pretty much anything - you want to buy a product from your favorite store, but they don't sell it. Are you going to find another store instead, or incessantly complain at your favorite store until they sell you the product?

Look, I'm not defending companies getting rid of features, and I am not against people complaining, but some people don't really know when to stop. This Anonymuss guy in particular has been spamming the same "no jack no card slot no buy" nonsense on like 30 different articles, it's simply not realistic to expect people to ignore him completely, he's a major nuisance.

And please, stop using that dumb clown emoji, it makes you sound like a 12 year old.

I commented that if you want a phone with a jack and card slot, there's still options out there, like the Redmi Note 13, Realme 13+, and Galaxy A25.

That's the truth, but you and that joker Anonymuss decided to downvote my comment for whatever reason.

You upvoting people like Anonymuss proves that some people like you can't handle reality, and would rather complain endlessly. Sad.

Sure people can say that Qualcomm has a better reputation only because it's an American company and people glorified it, but still, it can't be a solid proof that Qualcomm's offering is more expensive than MediaTek's.

So, do u think the price of D9400 is same as SD 8 Elite?

Brand reputation, benchmark, and gaming optimization of Snapdragon usually higher on Snapdragon. That's why they are more expensive.

But what about the price of D9400 vs SD 8 Gen 3?
I think it's arround the same price. But I already wrote that it should downgrade the fingerprint to optical and battery to 6000 mAh if D9400 price is a little bit higher than SD 8 Gen 3 :)

Brands have understood that people who are willing to spend more on phones are more likely to buy expensive earbuds without really considering the value they are getting out of the purchase. So they remove the Jack. This way they can easily sell TWS for $150 (to idiots) which gives lower performance than any $20 chi-fi IEM.
