The affordable Redmi K80 is equipped with an SD 8 Gen 3 and a massive 6,550 mAh battery

The phone also has an IP68 rating and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the beautiful 6.67" 12-bit display, but is one camera short compared to the K80 Pro.

potato4k, 27 Nov 2024Why does it need 6550mAh battery? Oh right, it's Xiaomi 🤭🤦. You'd be wrong though, because it isn't just them and some will have even bigger battery like realme neo7

To me, it makes much more sense than Pro series this year. The price gap has increased a lot. At 2/3rd price, the only compromises are that you are getting a slower (but still pretty damn powerful) processor, a poorer ultrawide and no telephoto (but it's not like the ultrawide and telephoto setup on Pro are that impressive anyway). But you are actually getting a bigger battery.

        Interesting.
Maybe I'll get the Poco version.

Why is it off-center? Did someone drop them during the manufacturing process? 🧐

so this is what the Poco F7 Pro will be like....

I wonder if the body is still made of aluminum. (I think it's not).

nice to see they didn't skip on the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

$350 for the 8 Gen 3 is a great deal... Chinese market is crazy good.

Screen size should have been 6.8inch & UW cam should have been 32 or 50mp. Then it was sure shot to buy.

Good to see Xiaomi returns to including better quality case in the box after years of basic silicon cases. Loved the case that came with my Mi 9T Pro.

350 dollars and an excellent quality/price ratio
I'm always impressed by the prices on the Chinese market
