AnonD-124528, 12 Aug 2013Aaa, do you ever used it in person...did you only trust in ... moreEven though I love the HTC One and IMHO its closest to being the best device launched in 2013 so far (and I am not in any way suggesting S4 as the best cause HTC One is clearly better), I hate to admit that its cam, in fact, keeps it from being the best. The stills from the One are good enough only to be uploaded to FB and stuff. In no way can the 4mp of One be compared to the 13mps or the 8mps out there as the level of detail captured by the later is far more than that of One's. In fact if the pics from the 13mp or 8mp are scaled down to 4mp (i.e. = HTC), you'll really know what I mean.
However, this doesn't mean HTC One's cam is useless or the phone isn't gr8, well it is. In low light its one of the best even at stills.
I would like to add here, be it iP5, One, S4 or Z none of them is best at everything. Each device has its trade-offs so you've got to chose which ones are the most important for you while keeping the price factor in mind. So IMHO there's absolutely no point in rashly ridiculing any one of them or unrealistically claiming as "THE BEST".

same boring stuff from sony... no one will mind calling it another version of xperia Z... sony need to focus hard on specs... whats wrong with them i mean who throws his/her phone in water or dig it inside the sand?? give us removable back panel, replaceable batteries n dont ever put those ugly on-screen buttons... sony z compromising with basic needs in sake of fancy features which is not at all needed...
note: m not saying here anything against latest chip, latest display n latest camera so sony fans plz dont bash me for it as u alwaz do whenever someone posts some demerits about ur beloved product.. kindly support peace...

AnonD-32581, 12 Aug 2013HTC one's camera is crap and gimmicky, even review sites sa... moreAaa, do you ever used it in person...did you only trust in review only...man, you got to be kidding...what an amature...if you ever take a picture with Htc one an compare it any 13mp camera, you can't even tell the difference...you know, they don't switch to 4mp and call it ultra pixel for nothing..it have a reason..people who like I say, novice in mobile world is ye only one will think its stupid..just only trust review and not looking on real life and always, always call it a gimmick when they have no idea what's going on...feel sorry for you mate...:)

AnonD-32581, 12 Aug 2013HTC one's camera is crap and gimmicky, even review sites sa... moreforget what review sites say. have you used the HTC One's camera? do you know what crap means? have you looked at 5 pictures of the same object from 5 devices like the iPhone 5, the S4, the Xperia Z, the Note 2 and the HTC One camera and you were able to say clearly that a particular one was clearly worse than the other 4 and be correct that it was the picture from the HTC One?
If you haven't then you have no grounds to judge the HTC One camera as being crap. The Camera quality of the HTC One is solid.

My phone is much more stylish and have gotten tons of compliments where as her phone looks like an S3 another thing that annoys me most about the samsung is touchwiz it just looks cheap and not well thought out.
I tried playing the same 1080p vid and my phone looked better as the colors just looked more natural but her battery lasts longer, her loud speaker is slightly better but my phone reproduces better sound with headphones on (sony's clear audio software is amazing).
Best of all I have taken calls in the shower and have replied to important texts with wet hands not to mention I once was seated at a restaurant when i accidently spilled sauce on my phone you should have seen the waiters face when I asked him to rinse my phone under water for me.
I really thought the water resistance would only come in handy in the event of an unforseen circumstance but turns out its actually more useful then I had imagined at first I would never have dreamt of putting my phone in water, water resistant or not but after reading this story

I'm feel completely confident in sony's build quality.
As for the people complaining about the screen you obviously haven't used the phone everytime I show someone a 1080p vid they are blown away by the quality.

this will be the phone of 2013.
i hope so much that they will release a smaller version of it because that is a bit to big for my taste. but please with a 1920 x 1080 display.

LOL. You're clearly frustrated about something else and taking your annoyance out on phones because I strongly disagree with all you've said.
1. The LG G2 has a lovely design.
2. The S4 does NOT have a boring design. It feels great in the hand and looks awesome too.
3. The HTC One camera isn't crap.
